Bamboo & Sorona fabricPosted in 'General' on November 11, 2009, 10:48 pm On it's way to the Bamboo Fabric Store is the exciting Bamboo and Sorona from Dupont. We already have t shirts in our Bambu Dru range but shortly we will have fabric so you can buy by the metre.
Fabrics made with Sorona® offer a unique combination of
attributes that are perfect for today's busy lifestyles, including: exceptional
durability and softness; built-in permanent stain and ultraviolet (UV) ray resistance
and outstanding elasticity while resisting stretch and sag over time. Sorona®
fabrics provide a carbon dioxide reduction of 30 percent while the Sorona®
manufacturing process reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 63 percent, compared
to conventional nylon made from petroleum. The Sorona fiber is made by using Corn!

Bamboo Clothing Range - Available NowPosted in 'General' on November 20, 2009, 2:51 pm Introducing an exciting new Bamboo clothing range that is literally to dye for!
All the products are free of dye. The idea behind this natural clothing range is pure and simple eco-style. You can wear/use the items as we make them (in their naked color) or dye/print/design on them as you’d like – sky is the limit! Feel free to order and take the garments to your local dyehouse or printer – or keep something for yourself and color at home. We also made the tags from paper that are easily snipped and torn out - so if you are looking to make a brand of your own, you can add your own label however you want.
Available in exciting fabrics, some of these blends are the first in Australia!
The Bamboo and Hemp blend T is ideal for the whole family, the look is super cool but the wear is actually enjoyable.
